Test Format: TAS ELISA
Reactivity: This test system reacted with all isolates or strains of PotLV tested. Reaction of the ELISA is super strong. Optical Density at 405nm is in a range of 1.600 - 3.000 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.
Sensitivity: Sensitivity of the ELISA is very high. The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at1:2430.
Specificity: This test does not cross react with other relative carlaviruses tested. There is no cross reaction with healthy potato plant tissues. Background is very low on all of the negative control wells.
Application: The test can be used to detect PotLV in infected potato leaves, tuber eyes, sprouts, and stems.
