Shallot Yellow Stripe Potyvirus (SYSV) - DAS ELISA                                                Home    Products    Testing Services   Supplies

Catalog #:  V226
Source Antibody:  Rabbit polyclonal antibody for both capture and detection.
Test Format:  DAS ELISA

Reactivity:  This test system reacted with all SYSV isolates tested. Reaction of the ELISA is relative strong.  Optical Density at 405nm  is in a range of 0.850 - 2.260 depending  on the virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:  Sensitivity of the ELISA is relative high.  The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at 1:270 - 810.

Specificity:  There is no cross reaction with healthy plant tissues.  Background is low on the negative control wells.

Application:  The test can be used to detect SYSV in infected host plans.
