Catalog #: B104 Reactivity: This ELISA reacted with all Pectobacterium atrosepticum (Patr) isolates tested. Reaction of the ELISA is very strong. Optical Density at 405nm is in a range of 1.700 - 3.000 depending on the bacterial titers in the samples tested. Sensitivity: Sensitivity of the ELISA is very high. The bacterium can be consistently detected in infected plant tissues diluted at 1:2430. Specificity: This test system reacts negatively with Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli, Clavibacter flaccumfaciens, C. michiganensis subsp. insidiosus, C. m. subsp. michiganensis, C. m. subsp. nebraskensis, C. m. subsp. sepedonicus, C. m. subsp. tessellarius, Erwinia carotovora subsp. carotovora, E. chrysanthemi, E. stewartii, Pseudomonas syringae pv. phaseolicola, P. s. pv. syringae, Ralstonia solanacearum, Xanthomonas campestris pv. armoraciae, X. c. pv. campestris, X. c. pv. citri, X. c. pv. diffenbachiae, X. c. pv. pelargonii, X. c. pv. phaseoli, and X. c. pv. vesicatoria. There is no cross reaction with healthy plant tissues. Background is very low on all of the negative control wells. Application: The test can be used to detect Pectobacterium atrosepticum in infected host plants as well as in pure bacterial cultures. Products:
