Source Antibody: Rabbit polyclonal antibody for both capture and
detection.
Test Format: DAS ELISA
Reactivity: Reaction of the ELISA is relatively strong. Optical Density at 405nm is in a range of 1.400 - 2.600 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.
Sensitivity: Sensitivity of the ELISA is relatively high. The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant tissues diluted at 1:270 - 1:810.
Specificity: This test system has no cross reaction with healthy plant tissues such as rose and grape. Background is low on all of the negative control wells.
Application: The test can be used to detect ArMV in any common host plants.

Virus Infection: Arabis mosaic virus (ArMV) is a RNA virus with isometric particles. It is transmitted by nematode in soil and can also be easily transmitted by plant sap. ArMV infects the seeds of many host plants and has a wide natural and experimental host range.
